Kim’s Green Smoothie

Green smoothies can be intimidating, but let me assure you, this is delicious! It’s got lots of fruit to make it sweet and the kiwi and green apple really kick it up a notch with a bit of tang and a ton of vitamin C. I love adding raw cashews to smoothies to make them nice and creamy and add some healthy fats to the mix along with the flax. Hemp is a great plant-based protein and bananas (as we know) give us a good dose of potassium for optimizing nervous system health. You really can’t go wrong with this one.


Kim's Green Smoothie
Serves: 2
  • 1 c filtered water
  • 1 c tightly packed baby spinach
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp ground flax seeds
  • handful raw cashews
  • 2-4 ice cubes
  1. Prepare fruit: scoop kiwi out of skin. Chop apple and celery into chunks. Break up banana.
  2. Pour the water in high-speed blender or food processor.
  3. Add all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth.
