Hummus From Scratch At Tabule Toronto
  • 1 cup of ground chickpeas (either soaked and boiled or use canned chickpeas)
  • ½ cup of raw tahini
  • ¼ cup of fresh lemon juice
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic (mashed up)
  • kosher or sea salt to taste
  • add water to achieve desired consistency
  1. Mix all ingredients in a mixer (either a food processor or you can use a hand blender if do not have a mixer).
  2. Add a little of water to get a creamier texture.
  3. Add salt to taste
